Sad weekend for our neighbors..

On Saturday afternoon our neighbor's (2 houses down/across the street) garage started on fire. It took the fire department TWENTY MINUTES to get to it. We all watched in horror as the garage/house burned! Thankfully no one was injured!

Happy 60th Birthday Dad/Papa

We celebrated my dad turning 60 on his actual birthday (9/13) We had a nice dinner at Dehn's and then went to my parent's house for birthday cake and icecream. It is so hard to believe my dad is 60! Hopefully that much closer now to retirement :)
Happy Birthday dad/papa. We love you!

1st day of Sunday school.

Wesley was the only one that did not cry! He got a jesus loves me bracelet and that is what he is chewing on...

Happy 7th Birthday Nathaniel

September IS the month of birthdays for us! Last Saturday we celebrated Nathaniel's birthday. Wesley got to help Nathaniel open his presents and he also got to blow out the birthday candles (after we relit them ofcoarse!) Happy Birthday Nathaniel. We love you!

Osseo Parade 2009

Wesley's very first parade. We met the Duscher's and Grandpa and Grandma there. It was SO HOT that day. Wesley got so much candy. He loved every second of it AND we got to see Nathaniel in the parade. He was on the boyscout float.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On 9/9/09 Ronnie turned "35" I had my 16 week check up on his birthday. Ronnie didn't come to the appointment because he was busy working so I went alone. The doctor was unable to hear the heartbeat via the doppler but was not worried. She reassured me and decided to do a quick ultra sound. The doctor did the ultrasound herself because the tech was not there. Everything was fine and the baby was moving all over the place. Then the doctor proceeded to ask me if I wanted to know the sex of the baby! I did but wanted to find out at the same time as Ronnie so I asked the doctor to write down the sex and seal it up and put it in an envelope.I knew we had plans (just the 2 of us) to go to dinner so at dinner I was able to give my husband one of the best birthday presents he will ever receive. We are having a little girl! The doctor is 75% sure so we will find out for sure October 9th. Happy Birthday Ronnie! Wesley and I love you very much.

Learning at an early age....

My friend Jill's daughter turned 1 on September 4th. Wesley and I went to her birtday party on Labor Day. Wesley got to spend the day with his friend Ella (age 2) and Parker (age 2) the three of them get to spend a lot of time together. I went to nursing school with Jill and Leah (Parker's mom) Leah moved by us this summer and Jill is moving by us in February. We are excited! Here are some photo's of the party. It was outside at Maple Grove Community Center.

Exciting news....

Wesley is going to be a BIG BROTHER! We found the news out 1 week after my 34th Birthday. I am due 2/20/10.

Summer Vacation

The last week of August we got invited to spend 3 days/2 nights up at Izati's resort with Brett, Laura, Dylan (age 5) and Ryan (4 months) It was one of the coldest weeks. It got down to 40 degrees at night so when the daddy's took the boys swimming it was really cold but thankfully the resort had an outdoor hot tub too! We spent most of the time in there. We had a great time. Wesley had fun throwing rocks into Mille Lac's lake and playing with his friend Dylan!
