Pool Party (6/23/08)

Wesley and I had our very first pool party. We invited Leah, Whitney and Parker (18 mos) and Jill and Ella (20 mos) Both Leah and Jill are expecting their second baby this year. Congrats to them!! We had a blast until Wesley took a header on the sidewalk!

We spent the first part of the day at my parent's house then we went to The Duscher's for the rest of the day. Here are a few more photo's of our day. We got my Dad a new leaf blower. He had lots of help opening it. Ronnie was helping Wesley go down the slide at the Duscher's. He LOVED their playland.

Geeg and Sydney

My niece Sydney has always called me "Geeg" since she was little. It has been my name for almost 7 years now :) My sister and her family and my family celebrated Father's Day at my parent's house. We had a wonderful steak lunch! We also celebrated my birthday. Sydney made me a very special card and got me a beautiful gold beaded necklace with two gold coins. I am one lucky Auntie!

Poor Baby!

Last Wednesday (June 11th) Wesley woke up at 2 a.m. with a temperature of 103.1 It was awful! I panicked and called the doctor on call and he told us to alternate Tylenol and Motrin. Wesley was drinking and peeing okay (thankfully) so he said to bring him in to the doctor in the morning. I brought him in and the doctor did a chest xray and his lungs were perfect (thank-god!) and basically told us its a virus and to let it run its coarse. Well 4 days later Wesley was finally feeling better. I stayed home again with him on Friday. We just cuddled all day. He is also cutting teeth so as you can see in this picture his cheeks are so red!

14 month's old (6-3-08)

Wesley is doing great. He is 25 pounds! He is walking/running everywhere. He is very busy discovering everything! He still loves to be outside. He screams when we have to go inside. He can say "Hi" and sometimes he can say "Hello" He says "meemee" (mommy) and "Dah-dey" (daddy) and "Trac-tor" He does a lot of imitating. He grabbed my cell phone the other day and put it up to his ear and rambled lots of baby talk. It was so cute! He was trying to be like his mommy talking on the cell phone. He is at such a fun age right now. We are enjoying every second!

Dinner with the girl's!

Boy I have been out more this past week than I have since I had Wesley! I went to see Sex and The City with Terry and Carrie. It was EXCELLENT! After the movie we went to Guadalajara for dinner and Margerita's. Mattie joined us after the movie. Thanks girls for dinner, drinks and my fabulous gift cards. I can't wait to go shopping!

June 6th 2008

Yes, I am now 33 years old! Wow, I was just thinking that 15 years ago today I graduated from High School. I can't even believe that. Where does the time go? I worked for part of the day then I left and ran errands. I picked up Wesley early from daycare and we played till Ronnie got home. We dropped Wesley off at Ronnie's parent's house then my hubby and I went to Bella Sera for dinner. We had a great time. Wow, if you are craving some italian food that is the place to go. I had a great day. My boys sure know how to spoil me! I forgot to take pictures on my b-day so I have none to post!

Sunday, June 1st my best friend Krista took me out to dinner. We actually ventured out of our zipcode and went downtown to THE MELTING POT! It was fantastic. I had a wonderful time. Thank-you Krista!!

Wesley's first Boo Boo

Yes, my son hit the driveway and the best part that I was RIGHT THERE! He tripped and caught himself with his arms but his one arm gave out and so he got some road rash on his forehead. I am sure this is a first of many.....!

I love this picture of Ron, Wanda, Jennie and Ronnie. I think Wanda should send this out at chritmas time for their christmas card! They were all doing a shot called "The Dirty Girlscout" It was pretty funny!
