Wesley's 1st haircut!

Today (2/11/08) My mom and I went to get Wesley's haircut. As you can see it was quite long. He was starting to look like a little girl! I wanted to wait till his first birthday but his hair just kept growing and growing so I talked it over with Ronnie and he agreed that we should get his haircut now. My mom met us at Snip its. It is a cute kids hair place in Maple Grove. Wesley did really good. I was reading in a book and the book recommended that you don't go get your baby's haircut when your baby is a) Hungry or b) tired! Well, the terrible mommy that I am he was both! As you can see he is almost sleeping at one point during his haircut. He now looks so grown up!

"Yea Baby!"

The newest milestone!

10 months old (2/3/2008)

Wesley is 10 months old today! He just got his 2nd tooth this morning. We were up about 4 different times last night. The tooth poking thru today explains a lot! Wesley just learned to crawl up our steps on Friday night. Ryan was over visiting and we were chatting when Wesley crawled to the first step and I was right there because he likes to get to the first step and get stuck. Well to my surprise he crawled up the first step, then the second and then to the top step which got him into the kitchen! I couldn't believe it. Well now instead of playing with his toys he goes right to the steps! We have to figure out what to do now because he is not steady when he gets to the steps and if we are not right there he may take a header. Wesley is a master at crawling now and as of last week he is pulling himself up on everything and standing like a big boy. Ronnie had to lower the crib again yesterday. Wesley loves to stand in his crib now. He can say "dada" and once in a while you can hear him say "mama" He is so much fun now. It is amazing to me how quickly he learns things and how excited I get over the littlest things. If I say "Yea,baby" then Wesley will clap his hands. That is another new thing he just started to do as of this week. I have photos of him climbing the steps and clapping his hands!
