1st tractor ride!

Wesley was in heaven riding on the tractor with Daddy! He loves, loves loves it outside! and of coarse he loves being with his daddy!

Momma time!

Enough said!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Tristan!

We went to Old McDonald's aka McDonald's on Tristan's actual birthday. Sydney and Tristan both got ice cream cones and T wanted Wesley to have some of his cone. I told him that Wesley is too little for ice cream and Sydney said "Geeg, doesn't Wesley drink milk in his bottle? Ice cream has milk in it!" I couldn't stop laughing. Too cute. "Hey Wesley, your cousins are already looking out for you!" Tristan's family b-day party was on Sunday. We had a nice time celebrating Tristan's birthday at the Fischer's house.

4 month's old

This has been an exciting month! Wesley went to his 4 month check up and he weighs 17.2 pounds and is 28 inches long! Yes, he is off the charts for height and weight. Ronnie and I about fell over when we heard his weight. We are still trying to figure out where he is getting his height from. Ronnie and I were both the smallest kids in our class growing up. Okay it must be from our uncles! This month has been so much fun as Wesley has discovered his little hands and fists. They are constantly in his mouth but no tooth as of yet. He also has discovered his toes too! We tried rice cereal for the first time and got that on video. It was pretty funny. He does like sweet potatoes and bananas but you have to trick him and add some rice into the sweet potatoes. He also has been sleeping thru the night pretty consistantly! Thank-goodness!!!

Ronnie's new toy!

Yes, we finally have grass! It seems like the longest year ever of not having a yard but we have a green grass now which meant time to purchase a riding lawn mower! Ronnie is so proud of his newest toy! I on the other hand hope to never drive it! :)

Cabin

On July 25th we got to take our very first family vacation. We went to a cabin with Ronnie's parents and his sister's family. Wesley got to be in the lake for his very first time. He liked it. He especially liked his new floaty. We had such a great time. We are looking forward to doing this every summer with Grandpa and Grandma Youngquist and The Duscher's!

It's a boy!

On Tuesday, April 3rd I had my beautiful baby boy Wesley Lawrence Youngquist. We couldn't believe how big he is! 8 lbs 9 ounces and 23 inches long (2 inches of that is his cone head!) Poor baby! I tried to push him out for over 3 hours and after 13 hours of labor Dr. Hallstrom decided there was no way I could get little baby Wesley out so I went in for a c-section. The nurse told me that only 1 person was allowed in the OR. I said "What?, My sister has been here for 15 hours, counting to 10 for me every 3 minutes for the past 3 hours!" I then talked to the anesthesiologist and he told her she could come to the OR with Ronnie. Ronnie and Danelle got their scrubs on and off to the OR we went. Thankfully she was with us because she was able to take all the "first" pictures of Wesley and cut the cord! Due to Ronnie's weak tummy he stayed up by my head. Not to mention he was so scared for me. It was scary but it went extremely well. Grandpa & Grandma Youngquist and Auntie Jennie were patiently waiting to meet baby Wesley.
