Happy Birthday Mom and Jennie

The Birthday Party

We celebrated the girls' birthday at our house Saturday night. The Duscher's just got back from Disney World. Jake got a new hat from Disney and Wesley loved wearing it. They brought over their Wii and we had a blast bowling! Happy Birthday Mom and Jennie. We hope you had a very Happy Birthday!

I had my mom, Grandma, sister and the kids over last Sunday. My grandma heard that Wesley's santa broke again and is unfixable. She happen to find the exact same Santa at Coborn's for $5.00! She brought it over and gave it to Wesley. He was pretty excited so now he carries around BOTH Santa's and his Elmo as you can see they all have to eat with him.

My Fireman

My sister gave me Tristan's old costume the other day. Wesley saw it in the bag and had to wear it. He loves to wear it around the house. It is too cute except for the darn nuky he won't take out of his mouth!

Playing ball with Daddy

Chuck E Cheese

Parker turned 2! He had his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was Wesley's first time going there. He had a BLAST! I couldn't get him out of the place. We were there 3 hours. All I have to say is "I love the toddler room" You can actually keep tabs on your kid in that room. Here are a few photos of Parker's party.

"Santa"

The day after Christmas I went to Home Depot looking for a new Christmas tree. While shopping I came across this Santa doll that dances and sings Jingle Bells. I showed it to Wesley and he loved it immediately. There was no way I was going to get by with him putting the Santa back so I bought it. It turns out it was the best $10.00 I have ever spent. He has played with his Santa more than any toy that Santa brought for him. Well because it is not intended for an almost 2-year-old to drag around everywhere it has broken several times. Thankfully I have a very handy hubby who can fix anything. He was able to weld the wires back together so now Santa is working again.

My sister gave Wesley the pink disney mobile. It use to be Sydney's. Thankfully he is too little to care that his favorite car is PINK.

The Minnesota Zoo

In January Wesley and I met my sister and the kids at the zoo. We had a great time. Wesley loved the "oo oo ah ah's" That means "Monkey's" Here are a few photos of the day.

Wesley's new ride

Wesley got this beautiful new bike from Grandpa and Grandma Youngquist. He loves to ride it around in the kitchen.

Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas at The Youngquist's. We had a great day. We visited for a while and munched on shrimp cocktail and cheese and crackers. After a while we opened presents. Then we all sat down to a wonderful ham dinner. It was so nice this year for me to not have to work a holiday. 6 1/2 years of working weekends and holiday's was enough for me.

Christmas morning!

Santa came! Wesley still too little to understand exactly what was going on. I think I made such a HUGE deal that he kept looking at me like I was crazy. As you can see he was more into his spritz cookie than he was into opening up all the presents.

Happy 8th Birthday Jake!

On December 20th Jakie turned 8! We celebrated his birthday at the Duscher's house. I forgot my camera so I don't have one single photo. Happy Birthday Jakie, we love you very much!
