16 month's (8-3-08)

Wesley weighs 26 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches tall. He is in the 95th percentile for height and 70th percentile for weight. He now has 6 teeth with 2 more trying to poke through. He can say "BIG TRUCK", daddy, mommy, ball, go tractor, papa, grammy, tibby (sounds like teebee) Hi, Heidi (sounds like idee) Baba (bottle)He understands so much now. Tonight I said "Let's go take a tubby okay? " and he ran right into the bathroom! If I say "Let's go outside" He looks for his shoes. He is at such a fun age right now. We are enjoying watching our little toddler. Each day he does more and more. Wesley is into giving hugs. It is so cute. He will just run up to me or Ronnie and give us big hugs. Yesterday our neighbor came over. Wesley and I went to the door to let her in and he leaned over and grabbed onto her and gave her a hug. Needless to say my neighbor Jeanie's heart just melted! Okay he is only 16 months and he is a little ladies man already!

Vacation 2008

We went to Nisswa, Minnesota on July 19th and got back July 26th. Ronnie, Wesley and I stayed in a cute little one bedroom cabin. Ronnie's parent's and his sister and her family rented a cabin together at the same place. We had a great time. Each night we all had dinner together. During the day we played on the beach, swam in the lake, fished and went on tons of boat rides. Scott and Jennie have a boat so we all got to enjoy it all week. It was so wonderful to "get away" from life. Here are several photo's from our vacation. Wesley had a great time. I think his mommy and daddy were a bit exhausted after the week. He is SO BUSY! He is a very curious little boy.....!

Here is a photo of our Captain "Scott" and his co-captain "Matthew" They took us all on our evening boat cruise each night.

Dad and Mom fishing! Mom caught the 2nd biggest fish-4.25 lb northern! Scott caught the biggest fish a 5.0 lb northern. We had a fabulous fish fry thanks to them!
